Building on the Idea: the Creative Process

After bouncing the time idea off of a fellow creator and staunch supporter, I've gotten closer to figuring out how I want to represent time in a less literal sense.  A time capsule was suggested, but I slept on the idea and this morning countered with a timeline represented by or made to look like a music equalizer moving horizontally.  Then the question was, "what medium should be used?"   That hasn't been decided yet.  A painting first came to mind with multicolored bars, but a more exciting piece would be a metal sculpture.  I have metal straps that could be riveted to an old piece of wood, but also stand away from the wood and bend to make slight waves, or I also have lots of old guitar strings that I could do something with.  This could get complicated, but at the same time turn out to be a really awesome piece.  I'll keep y'all posted!
